Homework

 Log in and play a math game on the EveryDay Math website to stay sharp and become a math whiz.  If you have a Raz Kids login, be sure to read every night.  If you don't have a Raz Kids login, I will get you one soon. Reading Log (this is optional, I'm giving extra incentives for students who read). Writing:  If you have the time and want to encourage your child to write, perhaps you can have them write for a real purpose (send an email, write the grocery list, write some jokes, a song, write a letter to someone).

Due 10-29         Monday:  Word study packet and spelling test due. New words home Monday. 

                     Math  3.1 and 3.2 due (many of you turned it in before fall break)

10-29             Monday- Friday Word Study Homework

                    Monday night- no math

                    Read at least 20 minutes

                    If you forgot your writer's notebook today, please bring tomorrow. 

10-30             Tuesday Homework

                    Math-practice triangle facts or play Everyday Math game online

                    For students who want to participate in the UPark Spelling Bee study your 2nd                      grade spelling bee list.

                    Read for at least 20 minutes. New reading logs coming home tomorrow.

Oct. 31       Turn in monthly reading log for a Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza coupon.  Minutes read will go towards your black belt.  See Black Belt Reader tab for more information...
